There existed a time on planet Earth, before the time of Man, when music faded from the world. Meow. The rivers ran, but silently. The wolves longed for the moon, but failed to call for it. The trees stood still in the flowing breeze, breathing, but not truly living. Then, the wondrous sounds of music returned to the lands once again! First came the cry of a young bird. Then, the roar of thunder. On the third day, the UVM Hit Paws came down upon the Earth in a beam of light sent from the heavens. Since this day (in September 2001), our fateful hero Paws have been spreading their harmonies and melodies across the Green Mountains, the northeast and, alas, our once-silent planet. Me-ow
